How the Harada Method Works
A proven framework for turning your goals into reality
The Harada Method: 4 Simple Steps
Define Your Main Goal
Start by placing your primary objective in the center of the 9×9 grid. This is your ultimate goal - what you truly want to achieve. Make it specific and meaningful.
Example: "Run a marathon in under 4 hours" or "Launch my online business and reach $10,000/month revenue"
Identify 8 Sub-Goals
Determine the 8 supporting goals that surround your main goal. These are the key areas you need to develop to achieve your main objective. Think of them as the pillars supporting your main goal.
Example sub-goals for running a marathon:
- • Build endurance
- • Improve running form
- • Strengthen core muscles
- • Optimize nutrition
- • Prevent injuries
- • Mental preparation
- • Get proper gear
- • Create training schedule
Create 64 Action Items
For each of the 8 sub-goals, identify 8 specific action items. This gives you 64 concrete, actionable tasks. These are the daily and weekly actions that will move you toward your goal.
Example actions for "Build endurance" sub-goal:
- • Run 3 miles, 3 times per week
- • Increase weekly distance by 10%
- • Do one long run every Sunday
- • Practice interval training
- • Cross-train with cycling
- • Track runs in training log
- • Join a running group
- • Complete 5K and 10K races
